- The model of ‘entering the conversation’ is effective because as you input your own ideas, you listen to others’ ideas and respond to each other’s feedbacks. Using these templates can even contribute to your writing to becoming more creative and original, as these templates only help guide and format your writing.
- I agree that learning to look at artwork helps us analyze other situations, as it puts yourself in others’ shoes and helps you look at things from a different perspective from things we usually wouldn’t see just coming from your own point of view. It helps you think outside of the box, artwork can make you think since a lot of it is up to the viewer to view and interpret. Observing and analyzing artwork can also train one’s eyes to search for details and inspect elements.

We see, we wonder, we buy, we keep we sell….
Don’t compare yourself to others some would say but in today’s society, women cant help but to demonstrate and compare how sexy they see themselves and how they want to be seen by others. Being sexy sells, it is the added bonus to a woman. Todays women do not seem to care if they are seen in the nude or not, they do this as a gesture, they do this to feel good about themselves or to attract attentions. Women today are very strong when it comes to self perception, they see themselves as powerhouses and do not want to be told or reminded of their level of nudity. Berger differentiates being nude is not being naked and being naked is not being nude, but to today’s standards, women in society would agree that partially nude and naked are all the same.
Its hard to argue if women have control over what franchises show women should look like. The media post, the media buys, it sells and it keeps. If a woman is dressed a certain way to advertise their sexuality be it accidentally or intentionally the media will mop up that gesture without control. We are surrounded by the images in life and the media sees these images to sell, for publicity and to entertain.
Sexuality will always play the biggest role to attract a man’s gaze. Sexuality is internal and external. Women like to be looked upon, therefore nudity should be perceived in the eyes of the beholder. Narcissism comes naturally to both men and women and its needs to attract one another. Needless to say it comes effortlessly and even compulsory for a man to gaze upon and be drawn by a woman’s sexuality.

- I agree that leaning to look at artwork helps us analyze other situations. It took me by surprise at the first because I overlook in the fact that this process helps me to have a better critical thinking. Personally, when I go to the museum or art gallery, I see things and sometimes I have questions about it. This can compare to the situation in the real world. We

Writers should use the model “entering the conversation” in their writing. This allows you to listen to what people are really saying and from there you are giving them a sense of what you think in response to what they’re saying. You have to hold out against giving your own point of view until you have constructed what type of discussion is going on.
I disagree that looking at artwork can help you analyze other situations because art is in the eye of the beholder. Everyone will have their own interpretation which may lead to conflict. Some could view an art piece as superior, ethical, moral or beautiful and some may look at that same art piece and be in disgust, anger or dismay. That conflict can be destructive and cause poor attitudes towards people who disagree with each other’s interpretations of that very same art piece.

Writers should use the model of “entering the conversation” in their writing. Hearing about other peoples opinions and thoughts about a topic can allow you to see things from different view points and might even change your opinion. Having people who disagree with you can challenge your way of thinking and make you a better writer. I agree that learning to look at artwork can help you analyze other situations. Most artists are in situations similar to the ones you might be in and they express it through their art. It can help with observation and how to look deep into certain things that may not be obvious.

Writers can improve their writing with different techniques. One of them is by using the model of “entering the conversation.” In this technique, writers observe and listen more to what others have to say before putting forward their own ideas so that they can present their arguments or their ideas in context to what others are saying. It also helps writers make their statement stronger by supporting their argument based on evidence or what “they say.” This way readers can understand all aspects of the topic and the reasoning the writer presents.
I believe that learning to look at artwork helps us to evaluate other situations. It improves the way we see things around us if we pay attention to every little detail to find meaning. It compels us to think and question what lies in front of us and try to understand the situation. It can open new dimensions we may usually overlook and help us to comprehend better. We can implement this skill in our daily lives to get a deeper understanding of everything around us and be more aware and develop our analytical skills.

- Writers have a greater advantage when they use the model “entering the conversation”. One of first advantages I noticed is structure throughout the conversation or text. Many students including may struggle with this sometimes. So having a structure makes the conversation or text flow better. Another advantage that really stuck out to me was making sure your position and viewpoint in the conversation are clear so you can get a accurate and engaging conversation from your peer(s).
- Learning how to look at artwork definitely helps us analyze other situations presented us. The video ‘How Art Can Help You Analyze’ literally breaks down 5 steps or methods we can use to analyze a picture or situation. I’ve also realized while I’m at work I use all of these methods. Just to refresh you guys memory the methods were ‘Study the Picture (situation) Thoroughly, Analyze the Elements Observed, Articulate the Succinctly, and Formulate Questions.’ When you use this step while looking at a picture it helps you look deeper than surface.
