Ralph Ellison describes where he lives, the sounds he hears, and what he sees around him. The things that he hears and sees every day, and describing his noisy neighbors Also, how they are loud and they play music and How he hears all the sounds from outside from the people and the cats and dogs. It all affected the way he lived because he would hear it all the time. and would have to try to cope with the noise and live with it.
He means by saying ”In those days it was either live with music or die with noise” that he had to put up with the nouse so he had to live with the music. trying to make it into something positive or he would spend the rest of the time he stayed  there he would be miserable with the noise
Ways of hearing and The soundscape are similar because since he is used to the sounds he hears. He can learn to ignore them and still hear the noise but he can drown the sounds out. since he has to live with it but he can try to make the best of it. like he says he can drown out the noise with others noises.

The difference between hearing and listening can be different for everyone. I think that listening  is when you listening closely to something you want to listen to like your favorite song or you want to listen to someone sing but hearing you can hear things and not be listening to it you can hear someone speaking but you’re not paying attention to what they’re saying. You can hear it but you can ignore it even when you block it from your brain and block the sound out you can still hear it but your brain just drowns it out. If you are focused on something else you can have the choice between hearing and actually listening to it by trying to focus on what you’re paying attention to, like reading a book and people are talking ,we try to ignore it. What we hear and listen to is different depending on what race, gender, and social class we are. For example, people of a different race don’t listen to ignorance because they learn to ignore things that are said to them  because they heard it threw out their lives . It can also depend on a person’s age, where they live, and personality.
Schafer and Krukowski’s point is that the relationship between sound and space is the space your in can play a part in how you hear sounds and things around you.

People of color are almost always  perceived as the victims in the photographs because they take them to make it appear to everyone what’s going on with black people today and how we are treated. I agree that they use photographs of black people when they are seen as the victims, when George Floyd’s situation happened they used him all over and he seemed like the victim of this police brutality. although  Black and caucasian people were protesting against what they did to George Floyd. white people do tend to put black people  on the front page and they are perceived as the victim so whites can be aware of what’s happening,

1.Burgers says publicity influences consumers by persuades them to buy things .and showing things we can be envious of like supper models in a magazine they have been transformed with the make up the close so we going to envy them. This is important because we look at things we like if we see an image, we like we are going to look at it and admire it and might make us buy it.

2.  I agree that looking  at art work helps us understand other situation because it helps you  have a better  understanding of what you see ,It is important in everything you do .It can make you see what you  did not see  before . and to better analyze things  you see .and pay more attention  to details . Its a  very important  skill for any career . it makes you think more and ask more question  and have better understanding of the situation . Also ,can make you see what you were not looking for and make you pay attention to the real world from a new point of view.
