Hello, my name is Jacqueline but you can call me Jackie. I’m Mexican American who was born and raised in the Bronx. i am 17 years old, graduated high school not so long ago, which means I’m very new to this college lifestyle, so please go easy on me. My hobbies include painting, drawing, and watch television. something i adore watching is anime, Korean dramas, Spanish dramas such as money heist on Netflix. I enjoy painting but if you ever see me paint its because i have a lot of thoughts in my mind. when I’m painting i tend to focus more on the paint itself, I’m not worried about getting dirty, I’m not listening to my surroundings or thoughts, i just focus on my painting and how ill make it the way i want to make it. My apologies for the big introduction, if you’ll like to know more about me don’t be afraid to say hello, i don’t bite.

Introduction Blog Post Assignment
Take some time to introduce yourself. What are your interests? What is your major? What kinds of things do you like to read and write? Include pictures or other multimedia elements if you want to.
Blog # 2 Prompt
- Do representations of women today objectify them in the same or similar ways as what Berger argues about women depicted in Renaissance paintings? Do women have control over their images in the media or are they still determined by the male gaze? Does sexuality play the same role in images of women today as what Berger describes? (As you think about your answer think of specific places in the episode to respond to, and try to use techniques from They Say/I Say to formulate your response. In other words, use Berger’s analysis as a “they say.”)
